Future Poker Legends: Karina Jett

Poker tournaments are no longer limited to hordes of men looking for that lucky card, but to hordes of women as well. Karina Jett isn't one of those women looking for a lucky card, but is one of the most skilled rising stars around. Combining both looks and astounding and consistent poker skills in one stunning package, Karina Jett is one of the more famous people sitting at the poker table. Not only that, Karina Jett is also a fine mother of two children to one lucky Chip Jett, with winnings screaming over one hundred thousand dollars with around twenty cash finishes behind them.

Saigon would be were Karina Jett was born to a loving pair of parents, a father who was Greek-American and a mother who was Vietnamese. When she was still a toddler she would move with her family to Florida, as her father would be stationed in an Air Force base not too long afterwards. Poker is perhaps a skill learned rather an inherited though in either case, Karina Jett would be able to learn the famous card game. Karina Jett's family was a family that bonded and enjoyed poker, with Seven Card Stud as their preferred game.

Unlike many other poker professionals, her love for poker would not manifest early in life as Karina Jett would swear that the game was mundane and boring rather than exciting. It wouldn't be until she was a teenager that she would be able to fully appreciate the nuances and aspects of a game that has immense depth, starting with the basic stud poker.

Her victories at the poker tables would come soon after, with Seven Card Stud as her initial competitive poker variant. Karina Jett would take advantage of work opportunities, taking on the job of a poker prop to gain both experience and to make a living for herself. It wouldn't be until 1996 when Karina Jett would become a true professional. Texas Hold'em would be the next poker variant to experience her skill and rather, the door of opportunity opening up to her after a cousin taught her the game. As soon as 2002, Karina Jett would begin performing profitably at the poker tables, such as at a table on the Late Night Poker Show.

Obviously, this is only the beginning for Karina Jett. Other poker variants and tournaments would taste her sly yet aggressive poker play. As one of the most beautiful players in poker to date, many are looking forward to her best days at the tables.
